As you know I have been testing out OpenAds to track links, this includes graphic banners and text links. So far I have had mixed results. Whilst OpenAds is a great program, is free and has lots and lots of options I find that it does not suit me as a small publisher.
It was over a month ago I installed Blogrush to test it out. It’s now time to get of the fence and give some sort of review.
It took about half an hour or so to upload the OpenAds files onto my server. The next step was to set up the system which is essentially installing the included PHP scripts of which there are many. The set up is straight forward but if your are completely Webmaster Admin illiterate then it may be a bit of a challenge.
Openads which you may remember it as PHPads is an opensource(free to use) ad management tool. It allows you to manage advertising on your site and provide traffic stats for your advertisers. You could use it to manage ads sold directly from your site or manage third party ad network ads. It handles both text and graphical ads.
